What is Delta 10 THC? How does it relate to Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC? Is Delta 10 safe? These are just a few questions you may have asked yourself when you first heard about Delta 10. This cannabinoid is quickly gaining popularity and we are here to answer some of your questions.

What is Delta-10 THC?

Delta 10 is a cannabinoid naturally found in hemp and cannabis in small amounts. At concentrated levels, it can be used in vapes, topicals, and edibles just like other THC molecules. Like Delta 8, Delta 10 is also derived from chemically converting concentrated amounts of CBD derived from hemp. Now that we know a little bit about how Delta 10 is created, but what about its legalities?

Because it is still categorized as THC, it may face similar scrutinies that Delta 8 and Delta 9 face at a state level. Many states that regulate Delta 8 include all forms of THC in their legal literature, and that includes Delta 10. At a federal level, we can see the same rules applying to Delta 10 as they do to Delta 8. As long as it is hemp derived, it is federally legal according to the Farm Bill of 2018. If you would like to know more about how Delta 8 and other hemp derived cannabinoids are federally legal, check out our other blog post here.

Is Delta-10 THC Safe to Consume?

Since Delta 10 is naturally found in both cannabis and hemp, it is safe to say that it is safe to consume just like Delta 8 and Delta 9 THC. That being said, everyone has a different way of processing their cannabinoids. As a consumer, it is best to know through third party lab testing analysis what is in your products before using them. At Mints Market, we use DEA registered third party laboratories to ensure that you are receiving not only the most compliant but most transparent lab testing on all of our products. Now that you know all naturally found THC molecules are safe to consume, let’s discuss what you have all been waiting for.

Does Delta 10 Get You High?

Many have reported that Delta 10 makes you just as high as Delta 8 but in a different way. While Delta 8 may give you a more “body” high effect like indica strains, Delta 10 is said to give people more energizing effects similar to sativa strains. Does that mean Delta 9 is somewhere in the middle? We will let you be the judge. Cannabinoids affect everyone differently. As of now, there is no consensus as to how each one reacts other than self reported experiences.

At Mints Market, we have user tested several cannabinoids to ensure that our products are the best on the market in quality, flavor, potency, and effect. If you have not tried any hemp derived products, we encourage you to check out our store!
